Due to the personal circumstances of management, Black Muslim Forum will be closing indefinitely and all operations will cease by December 2022.
We will keep the website running as there are some valuable resources on there but all projects will draw to a close by the end of this year.
We would like to thank you wholeheartedly for your support and engagement over the years.
After almost 5 years of BMF which started as a small blog, we grew to run a black supplementary school for 5-11 year old black children, a Black girls mentoring programme, facilitate community events, run a mental health service, publish research and policy proposals, run an anti-racist ISoc campaign and produce black centred film, it could not have been possible without each and every partner, supporter, donor and volunteer. What a journey!
In terms of our existing funding, the remaining unrestricted donations will be used to keep the website running and restricted donations for our Black supplementary school will be distributed to other Black supplementary schools in London.
We hope you will continue to benefit from the resources on our site and continue fighting for Black / Black Muslim rights in every capacity.
