Part of our mission in uplifting Black Muslims is through service delivery and projects from mental health to a Black supplementary school.

ALAFIA PROJECT FOR BLACK MUSLIM MENTAL HEALTH

A Black Muslim mental health project providing support at the intersection of the racial and the spiritual.

THE MALCOLM CODE: ANTI-RACIST STRUCTURAL CHANGE (ISOCS)

Anti-racist structural change for Islamic societies to pledge to in order to become anti-racist bodies. Named in honour of Malcolm X.

NANA ASMA’U COMMUNITY SCHOOL FOR BLACK MUSLIM CHILDREN

A Black supplementary school for KS1 – KS2 Black Muslim children (aged 5-11) teaching African history and Black self esteem.

1-1 BLACK STAR MENTORING FOR 14-24 YEAR OLD BLACK MUSLIM GIRLS

This project ran from 2021-2022 funded by Islamic Relief UK providing professional, academic, spiritual and pastoral support to Black Muslim girls.

EVENTS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE MCB + INDEPENDENT EVENTS

We run an annual anti-racist community training event with MCB as well as independent events such as our Black Muslim Community Circle.

BMF FILM – BLACK MEDIA EXPLORING AFRICA AND BLACKNESS

A media programme exploring the politics of blackness, Africans and the African diaspora through film.
